Glass trap doors
Completed with a glass trap door On top, elevates your wine cellar from being another storage room or storage option on the property; It will be a super nice detail in the décor, and regardless of whether you choose a 'Original’ Spiral Cellar with the rustic look, or the slightly refined 'White' Spiral Cellar, the view of the type of Cellar you have chosen, help define your style.
The glass doors are available in rectangular, semi-round and circular. All trap doors in our new design is motorized and the hinge sits elegantly inside the cellar. We have kept a rectangular glass trap door from our previous design, in our range, as this is a more affordable alternative compared to the new design. The older design has a frame mounted on the top of the glass and is hinged to the floor surface (see: rectangular with frame in the pictures below).
The motor is operated with an active pressure from a switch on the wall. We always recommend that the switch is mounted within line of sight, as it provides good safety in relation to operating the hatch.
