Maybe you know it? What seems like a long string of coincidences suddenly emerges as a common thread.
In 2001 I (Lisette Fredelund, owner of Spiral Cellars Scandinavia) took a job in Nairobi, Kenya where I had to work with development assistance. I left with my husband, two children and a container with our belongings, ready for a 3-year deployment.
After 3 years we traveled back to Denmark, now with an extra container with 25 tons of African sandstone and an idea to become a supplier of niche products for construction in Scandinavia. 

Where is the common thread in that?
I am the daughter of a contractor and more than 10 years before my job in Kenya, I had started studying to become an interior designer. Just for fun. At the time, I had not imagined making a living from it, but interior design, architecture, niche products and aesthetics were a hobby and a great passion that I lived out when I had time off. Now it's my way of life and I love creating results for my clients.
Over the years we have contributed to many fantastic projects. First with African sandstone, then with other niche products that were added to our portfolio. Spiral Cellars, which you are looking at right now, is one of the products we are particularly proud of, to be selected as a distributor of and as the years have passed we have chosen to focus only on that.

The company behind Spiral Cellars Scandinavia is Fredelund ApS. Fredelund ApS is an independent, officially appointed distributor of Spiral Cellars in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. All Spiral Cellars installed or delivered by Spiral Cellars Scandinavia is the responsibility of the company Fredelund ApS.
