Original

Original Spiral Cellar was developed in France more than 40 years ago.

To establish an Original Spiral Cellar , we need to dig a hole that is 2.3 meters in diameter and the cellar in its finished size is 2.0 meters in diameter measured from shelf back edge to shelf back edge. The depth of the finished cellar can vary from two to three meters in increments of 25 cm and the depth of the hole being dug will typically be 25-30 cm deeper than the finished cellar. The depth of the finished cellar is measured as the height of the top of the finished floor in the cellar to the top of the finished floor in the room above.

The capacity of the cellar in number of loose bottles can be seen in the table below the gallery.
