In an old farmhouse in Holte, you are greeted by the beautiful wine cellar already in the hall. The exterior of the house, with its half-timbering, thatched roof and small glazing, provides a stunning backdrop for a modern interior and the streamlined Spiral Cellar.
First we removed the existing wooden floor, carefully, because it needed to be reinstated after the cellar was completed. Then we dug the hole, installed the waterproof membrane and built the cellar , which at 2.0m, measured from the top of the the cellar floor to the top of the floor in the room above, can hold 1,190 bottles. the cellar is completed with the round, frameless glass trap door - you can hardly imagine a more impressive reception.
