While the days were significantly shorter than the night and the temperatures quite a bit below 0 degrees, we were in Norway to build this wine cellar. The area the cellar was to be built in was still outdoors while we were building the cellar and we had to greet our installation team and say that it was pretty cold.
The family wanted a larger living room so they decided to incorporate their covered terrace into the living space, so the wine cellar is now part of the living room. With glass trap door and the light installed in the cellar , it has become a fantastic sculptural element in the interior design and goes beautifully hand in hand with the new, modern kitchen and living room.
