Use your wine cellar as a weight room
Get more space in your home
The climate in a Spiral Cellar is perfect for storing the food stored in a traditional pantry. The temperature in a Spiral Cellar is determined by the temperature of the soil and is therefore at a uniform temperature between 13°C-15°C.
The space is ventilated and therefore ideal for storing foods such as root vegetables, dairy products like butter and cheese, canned goods and cans, as well as all those extra goodies that can't be squeezed into the cupboards e.g. at Easter and Christmas time.
Suitable for most homes
Because Spiral Cellar is built into the ground, it does not take up floor space and can easily fit into the interior design with a range of Trap door options that can be covered with floor tiles or wood flooring. Alternatively, there are several glass hatch options that accentuate the cellar and make it an interior design element in the home. If space in the room is limited, one half of the cellar covered with a ceiling can be placed under the kitchen island or cabinets and the half with the hatch can be placed in the open floor area of the kitchen.
Ideal as a weight room
the cellar is ideal for filling with food and wines that either take up too much space in the kitchen or would benefit from longer storage. With at least 42 shelves in its classic design, there is plenty of space.
Many Spiral Cellar customers choose to place their cellar in the central utility room of their home, and since many homes are designed with a large kitchen-dining room, it makes sense to store pantry-ready food in a Spiral Cellar.
